Research Interest: Access control models, Role-based access control model (RBAC), privacy models, context-aware computing, applied cryptography, information security, computer networks, data communication and telecommunication systems, ubiquitous computing.

Dr. Muhammad Nabeel Tahir holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology from Multimedia University, Malaysia (2010), with a research focus on intelligent security models and technologies for distributed systems. His doctoral research, titled “A HIPAA-Compliant Privacy-Aware Contextual Role-Based Access Control (C-RBAC) Model for Distributed Systems,” addressed advanced authorization and privacy challenges in ubiquitous and distributed computing environments. He earned his Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from the University of Management & Technology (UMT), Pakistan. His research interests include computer and network security, access control models, digital forensics, cybercrime, and secure distributed systems, with several research publications in these areas. He also actively contributes as an editorial and reviewer board member for multiple international journals and conferences.
