Current Position: Assistant Professor and Head of Department of Biotechnology, New Aligarh Degree College.
I am an accomplished biotechnologist with a PhD in Biotechnology and over 10 years of experience in academic research, teaching, laboratory management and scientific publishing. I currently serve as Assistant Professor and Head of the Biotechnology Department at New Aligarh Degree College.
My research expertise lies in algal biofuels, nanotechnology, metabolite profiling, wastewater treatment, plant stress physiology and environmental sustainability. I have collaborated on multidisciplinary projects addressing climate resilience, circular economy and advanced bioremediation strategies using algae, biochar and nanomaterials.
As an editor of Land Degradation and Development and a reviewer for prestigious journals including Biocatalysis and Agricultural Biotechnology, Scientific Reports (Springer Nature), Scientific and Regional Studies in Marine Science, I actively contribute to the scientific community by evaluating and curating high-impact research.
