About the Quiz

The Biotechnology Department invites students to test their observation and identification skills in the “What’s Under the Microscope?” Quiz. This interactive quiz challenges participants to recognize cells, microorganisms, tissues, and other lab specimens using high-resolution microscopic images. It’s a fun and educational way to reinforce knowledge gained in labs and lectures, while improving analytical and critical thinking skills.

The quiz encourages active learning, helping students connect theoretical knowledge with visual practice. Faculty and lab coordinators provide guidance and highlight the importance of accurate identification in biotechnology research and experiments. Top performers are recognized for their keen observation and mastery of microscopic structures.

Quiz Registration & System Setup

09:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Students log in, receive instructions, and prepare their systems for the quiz.

Quiz Session

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Participants view microscopic images and answer multiple-choice questions. Immediate feedback provided after each question.

Break & Review

12:00 PM – 01:00 PM

Students review key learning points and faculty share tips on specimen identification.

Results & Recognition

01:00 PM – 02:00 PM

Scores are compiled, top performers announced, and certificates awarded. Faculty emphasize the relevance of microscopic analysis in lab research.
