The Biotechnology Department invites students to test their observation and identification skills in the “What’s Under the Microscope?” Quiz. This interactive quiz challenges participants to recognize cells, microorganisms, tissues, and other lab specimens using high-resolution microscopic images. It’s a fun and educational way to reinforce knowledge gained in labs and lectures, while improving analytical and critical thinking skills.
The quiz encourages active learning, helping students connect theoretical knowledge with visual practice. Faculty and lab coordinators provide guidance and highlight the importance of accurate identification in biotechnology research and experiments. Top performers are recognized for their keen observation and mastery of microscopic structures.
To enhance students’ skills in identifying microscopic specimens, improve attention to detail, and reinforce the practical application of biotechnology knowledge in lab settings.
09:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Students log in, receive instructions, and prepare their systems for the quiz.
