About "History of Tech" Slideshow

The Department of Computer Science organized the “History of Tech” Slideshow, an educational presentation activity designed to take students on a journey through the major technological milestones that transformed society and revolutionized computing. The event highlighted the evolution of technology from early mechanical inventions to today’s advanced digital ecosystems.

Through engaging multimedia presentations, students explored significant breakthroughs including the invention of early computing machines, the development of personal computers, the rise of the internet, mobile computing, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, and emerging digital innovations. Participants examined how technological progress has continuously reshaped industries, communication, education, and everyday life.

Faculty members encouraged students to analyze the challenges, achievements, and visionary ideas that fueled technological advancement over the decades. The activity fostered an appreciation for the pioneers of computing while inspiring students to contribute to the next generation of innovations.

Core Objective

To broaden students’ understanding of technological evolution, develop awareness of key innovations in computing history, and inspire future innovation through the study of past achievements and technological breakthroughs.

Historical Overview & Introduction

Faculty members introduce the timeline of technological development and provide an overview of the major eras that shaped modern computing and digital communication.

Student Slideshow Presentations

10:15 AM – 01:00 PM

Students present researched slideshow projects covering important technological milestones, influential inventors, groundbreaking devices, and transformative innovations throughout computing history.

Discussion & Reflection Session

01:30 PM – 03:00 PM

Participants engage in discussions on the impact of historical innovations, share insights from their presentations, and explore future technological trends inspired by past developments.
