The “Small Shop” Chart Project is a flagship academic event designed specifically for the BBA department. It challenges future entrepreneurs to conceptualize, design, and present comprehensive operational plans for a small retail business using detailed and creative chart displays.
From target market analysis and pricing strategies to branding and visual merchandising, students bring fundamental business concepts to life. This interactive exhibition offers a platform for students to pitch their retail models to faculty, peers, and guest judges, bridging the gap between theoretical coursework and practical business application.
To cultivate entrepreneurial thinking, enhance critical presentation skills, and provide practical, hands-on experience in planning and marketing a viable small business concept.
09:00 AM - 10:30 AM
Students assemble their chart presentations and mini-displays. The event kicks off with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony and an opening address by the Head of the BBA Department.
10:30 AM – 01:30 PM
Faculty panels and guest judges evaluate the projects based on business viability, creative execution, and marketing strategy. The floor opens for inter-departmental peer visits and live Q&A sessions.
02:30 PM – 04:00 PM
Final scoring and recognition of the top-performing teams. The event concludes with the awarding of certificates, the "Best Business Concept" trophy, and closing remarks.

"Designing our 'Small Shop' chart completely changed how I look at local retail. Taking a raw idea, building a full operational model, and defending our marketing strategies to the judges was one of the most practical and rewarding learning experiences of my BBA journey."
